Riverwind and Golden – Calendar plate – Oils on Illustration board – 18” x 18”

As I’ve mentioned earlier in this book, while I worked at TSR, I became an admirer of some western artist’s work. Typically, much of it was centered around horses, landscapes and Indian costuming. In the Dragonlance mythos, there was a place for this. I jumped at the chance to branch out into something a little different than the more identifiable fantasy subject matter. I still enjoy western art, and have collected some, but my first and strongest interest is still in the fantasy genre.
