Note from Keith:  I’ve always loved to explore caves but I’ve never really had the chance to paint many of them.  The original sketch contained a dog which I was going to have jumping over the lava in front of the dragon.  It became a real question as to whether to leave it in or take it out.  The publisher wanted it out, the author wanted it in.  You can see who prevailed.
