What is a Giclee?

A giclee (zhee-CLAY), is an individually produced, high-resolution, high-fidelity, high tech reproduction. Giclees are produced from digital scans of existing artwork.

Giclees are printed on canvas and then stretched over a frame. Giclees are superior to traditional lithography in nearly every way. The colors are brighter, last longer, and are so high-resolution that they are virtually ‘continuous tone’, rather than tiny dots. The range, or “gamut” of color for giclees is far beyond that of lithography, and details are crisper.

NOTE: Giclees are custom printed when ordered. This may take up to 2 – 3 weeks before they are ready to ship.

We can produce giclees of nearly any piece created by Keith. If there is a piece you would like reproduced as a giclee you do not see here just contact us. There may be a one time set-up fee.
